  • 1948

    Windsor Hotel

    The Windsor Biarritz Hotel is related to the Berdoulay-Heguy family. In 1948, Anne-Marie and Pierre Berdoulay became the owners of a small establishment of 24 rooms, perfectly located between the main beach and the city center of Biarritz.

    During many years, they work very hard to make the Windsor one of the most known hotels in Biarritz.

  • 1991

    Great changes

    1991: Great changes By taking over the business, their daughter and son in law respect and preserve the values that have been transmitted to them: service, quality and expertise. In 1991, Martine and Roland Héguy begin to transform the hotel and increase the number of bedrooms to 48. By keeping its charm and friendliness, the Windsor is offering to itself a new breath.

    Windsor Biarritz Hotel then takes a new dimension, with its sea view rooms which become the forefront of the natural scene offered by the Ocean.

    Btween modernity and tradition

    Jean-Pierre Héguy arrival marks the entrance of the Windsor Biarritz in a new era, the one of modernity and tradition. By taking over the family hotel, its new owner made of it a modern establishment, respectful of its past.

    Contemporary decoration, new rooms, the entire property is influenced by art and culture, for the pleasure of its old and new guests. A perfect alchemy that makes this “home” one of the best hotels in Biarritz.
