1991: THE YEAR OF MAJOR CHANGES
When they took over the business, their daughter and son-in-law made a point of respecting and preserving the values that had been passed on to them: service, quality and know-how. In 1991, Martine and Roland Héguy undertook impressive extension work which enabled the hotel to expand by 24 rooms. While retaining its charm and conviviality, the Windsor has been given a new lease of life. The Windsor Biarritz hotel took on a whole new dimension with its sea view rooms becoming the front row seats of the natural theatre offered by the Ocean.
2007: BETWEEN TRADITION AND MODERNITY
The arrival of Jean Pierre Héguy marks the entry of the Windsor Biarritz into a new era, that of modernity at the service of tradition. Indeed, by taking over the family hotel, his new manager has turned it into a modern hotel that respects its past. Contemporary decoration, new lounges, refined rooms, the whole establishment is influenced by art and culture to the delight of its old and new guests. A perfect alchemy that makes this house a landmark in the Biarritz hotel industry.
